Structure and function
The Network is coordinated by the RAIS Regional Centre located in Kuwait with the support of the RECOFI Secretariat in Cairo, Egypt and the technical cooperation of FAO-FIMA (Aquaculture Management and Conservation Service) in Rome, Italy. All Member countries have assigned a National Coordinator who is responsible to promote and disseminate national and regional aquaculture information through the RAIS. The communication languages are English and Arabic.
